Beatrice "Bea" Lela Gauthier, 61 of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Bea was born on January 27, 1952 in Traverse City, to Robert and Betty (Fosnight) Gauthier. She married Warren Anderson on January 16, 1971 in Leland, Michigan. Together they lovingly raised two wonderful children, Scott and Lisa.

Bea retired from Northwestern Michigan College. She enjoyed playing golf and tried to play every day. Most importantly she loved to spend time with her family. Her grandchildren were especially special to her. She will fondly be remembered for her pink golf balls, bright smile, and loving heart.

Bea is survived by her children, Scott (Angela) Anderson, Lisa (Kevin) Greene, grandchildren, Ashlyn, Keira, Cynara and two on the way, her mother Betty, siblings, Dale (Joan) Gauthier, Dennis (Deb) Gauthier, Doug (Kathy) Gauthier, Helen (Jim) Eisner, Barbara (Jim) Gauthier-Warinner, Doris (Bill) Hanson, and many other loving family members and friends.

Bea is preceded in death by her husband Warren, father Robert and brother Dave.
