Obituary

Bernard James Largent "Ben" passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18th, his 68th birthday. Ben was the oldest of five siblings, father of two and grandfather of one.

Ben loved his family deeply and filled their lives with joy through his love of the outdoors, creating beautiful art, good food, music, sports, and his unwavering trust in the love of Jesus.
Ben found great joy in nature of any form. Whether hiking in the woods (probably looking for morels), camping, fishing, hunting, playing golf, or just watching a few squirrels play, Ben always found peace and happiness outdoors.

His family is incredibly grateful to the Arbor House and all of their staff, who have cared for Ben the family so well the past year and-a-half. As well as to the entire Heartland Hospice team whose care, empathy, kindness, and knowledge has supported the family through Ben's final weeks of his battle with Early Onset Alzheimers. We are so thankful to know that Ben was able to celebrate his birthday with family here on earth and again with his parents and savior in heaven.

Ben is survived by his children Eric Largent and Lisa (Brian) Rothhaar, as well as his granddaughter Eloise Rothhaar.

He is preceded in death by his mother Thelma Largent (Steinebach) and father James Largent.
He also leaves behind his four siblings Debra (Dale) Colaianni, Daniel (Michelle) Largent, Steven (Sharon) Largent, and Cynthia (Mike) Green; as well as former spouse Linda Leppek and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Due to the current times a private service, which is by invitation only will be held. For those wishing to take part in Ben's celebration please visit www.rjfh.tv , on Thursday, May 21, at 11:30 AM to attend a live-stream of the service.
