Obituary

Beth Cline of Traverse City, Michigan, passed away peacefully and entered eternity in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus on February 12, 2026.

Beth was born on July 29, 1964, in Muskegon, Michigan. She was lovingly adopted at a young age into a large and caring family by William and Mary Closz of Muskegon.

Beth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She graduated from Mona Shores High School in Muskegon in 1982 and worked in retail management for many years. Beth enjoyed working with people and helping them meet their needs.

Beth was a wonderful, loving, compassionate, and caring person. She served as a home health care provider for many individuals and loved being with them and helping them live the best lives they could. Her love, care, and compassion were a true blessing to them and their families. She was always willing to assist those in need.

Beth loved our Lord with all her heart. She served on many Northern Michigan DeColores women's retreat weekends as a Rectoress, leader, head cook, and in many other team roles. She also served for many years with the St. Patrick Church Women's Guild (CCW) in Traverse City.

Beth was a talented and gifted baker, making her very special chocolate truffles, wedding cakes, and cheesecakes that everyone enjoyed.

She married the love of her life, Pat Cline, in April 1988. Over the years together, Beth and Pat enjoyed spending precious time with their children and grandchildren and taking several wonderful Caribbean cruises.

Beth is survived by her husband, Patrick Cline; her son, Anthony (Alyssa) Cline; and her daughter, Cecelia (Cole) Cline Elliott; along with many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Camille Cline, Carter Cline, Amelia Cline, and River Elliott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Closz; her grandson, Anthony Cline Braden; her brother, Robert Closz; and her brother, Pat Closz.

A visitation and Catholic Mass will be held at a later date. Please visit the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home website for more details.
