She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a proud grandparent Betty had a heart made of pure gold. For over 40 years she was a child care provider in her home and she truly loved all of the kids she cared for. She retired from daycare at the age of 70.

She also enjoyed traveling, listening to country music and spending time with her family. Some of their fondest memories are many trips to Empire Beach to just watch the sunset, and the annual countdown to the National Cherry Festival to attend all activities.
