Betty M Wallace's Obituary
Betty M. Wallace, 90, of Traverse City passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at her home.
Betty was born April 13, 1927 to George and Ethel (Taylor) Sherriff in Honor, MI. After high school Betty attended college and received her Registered Nurse degree. She married Edwin Wallace on August 5, 1950 at a service in Grand Rapids, MI.
She moved to the Traverse City area in 1963 and worked at Milliken's Department Store as a Retail Clerk for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, doing crossword puzzles and spending time on her computer.
She is survived by her daughter Michele McFarlane; sisters Marion Stoddard and Georgia (Allen) Waterson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin; parents; and sister Gladys Waldron.
Per Betty's wishes cremation has taken place. Inurnment at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens will take place later this spring.
