Beverly Bechler

Beverly Jean Bechler, age 85 of Traverse City, MI, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8th, 2021, after a long illness. She was born in Midland, MI on September 27th, 1936, the daughter of the late William & Dorothy (Berridge).

On February 18th, 1956, she was united in marriage to Glenn J. "Whitey" Bechler at the Full Gospel Hall in Flint, MI. They both worked at Dow Chemical until moving up to the thumb to take over the family farm in 1957. Bev was an avid gardener, she loved to sew, listen to Christian music, travel and she loved the outdoors. She lived on the family farm until the death of her husband in 1987. She moved back to Midland where she was a CENA at Kings Daughters and Altera Nursing home until moving up to Traverse City in 2008, where she was a volunteer at Munson for several years.

Bev is the mother of Judy (Jeffrey) Kretzschmer, Traverse City, Dennis (Carol) Bechler, Washington, MI and Bryan (Wendy) Bechler of Overland Park, KS.

She is the sister of Pat, Marilyn, Carolyn, Bill, Margret, and Debbie.
Grandmother of Jennifer (Aaron Kolb) Kretzschmer, Jill (Leon) White, Jeremy (Stephanie) Kretzschmer, Megan Shed, Shelby (Tyler) Masters and Abigail (Hunter) Smith.

Great Grandmother of Ashlen & Peyton Michalski, Elijah & Noah Ruck, Raylee Kuhn, Sydnee and Kynnadee Kretzschmer and Blaine Pierson
Bev was proceeded in death by her husband Glenn, three sisters, Pat, Carolyn & Debbie.

Bev was loved by all who met her, and all who met her would smile!
