Obituary

Empire-Bonnie Louise Lloyd, 72, of Empire formerly of Lake Ann, died Sunday morning, November 25, 2012, at her home following a long illness.

Born December 1, 1939, in Marquette, she was the daughter of the late Charles H and Clara (Staggs) Larson.

Prior to her retirement she was employed by Mitchells in Benzonia.

Bonnie was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Empire. She enjoyed baking and cooking.

She is survived by her significant other, James B. Boomer of Empire; children ,Richard (Joanne) Kalisch of Ludington, Dennis L. Kalisch of Marquette and Michael Kalisch of Empire; sister, Josephine Anderson of Marshall WI; sister- in-law, Serena Larson of Honor; brother-in-law, Ronald Blough, Sr. of Beulah; grandchildren, Courtney Kalisch and Brian Taylor; two great grandchildren; aunt, Darlene Waters of Bowman, GA; several nieces and nephews along with many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanette Larson and Virginia Blough; brother, Charles H. Larson, Jr. and a grandchild, Aaron L. Kalisch.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on her birthday, Saturday. December 1, 2012, at Empire Baptist Church, Empire, at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Richard Blaser will officiate.

Following cremation, burial of her cremated remains will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Memorial may be directed to James B. Boomer for the benefit of a cemetery marker for Bonnie. Envelopes may be obtained at the church.
