Bonnie Joyce Miller, 67, of Traverse City passed away November 26, 2018 at Munson Medical Center with her family by her side.

Bonnie was born on April 22, 1951 in LaPeer to Harold Eugene and Margaret Ann (Smith) Diegel.

Bonnie graduated from Bentley High School in Livonia IN 1969. She worked for the Social Security Office for over 40 years as a claims service specialist.

In her free time Bonnie loved to be on the lake. She enjoyed boating, snow and water skiing. Bonnie also loved to garden and had many beautiful gardens. She also liked to hike and camp. In more recent years she enjoyed going shopping and reading, especially James Patterson novels.

Bonnie will be greatly missed by her family including her daughters Tammy (Mark) Huffman of Buckley and Julie Fewins of Owosso; father Harold Diegel; grandchildren Jonathan Miller, Devin Wennersten, Amanda Huffman, Austin Brown, Taylor Fewins, Jackson Fewins, Lindsey Wennersten and Ember Huffman; siblings Sandra (Robert) Bemis, Vicki (Gary) Mize, Connie (Mike) Harris, Karen (Ron) Debus, Patti (Tim) Gohl, Susan (John) Evans, Marie Bennett and Mike Dely; and her beloved shih tzu's Cooper and Snickers.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother Margaret, step mother Patricia, step sister Kathy and step brother John.

The visitation and memorial service for friends and family will be held at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 4 to 6 pm with the service beginning at 6:00 pm.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail.
