On April 9, 2012, Brennan Owen Budreau was greeted with loving arms of his mother, Erika Lynn Budreau and big sister, Kathy-Lynn Budreau. On Tuesday, July 24, 2012, God called upon Brennan to serve as an angel.
Brennan was named after Brennan Boesch who plays for the Detroit Tigers, and you would find him dressed in Tigers clothes frequently with a smile on his face. The family is asking that regular funeral attire be waived for their favorite Detroit Tigers apparel. He was also named after his belated Great Uncle Bob Budreau.
He is survived by his mother, Erika Lynn Budreau of Traverse City, MI; his big sister, Kathy-Lynn Budreau of Traverse City; grandparents, Karen and Pete Budreau of Onekama, MI; aunts Allycia (Joel Cox) Budreau of Traverse City, Melissa Wolfe of Edgewood, MD, Deidra Budreau of Bogue, NC; uncles, Pete Budreau of Aurora, CO and Thomas Loftus of Howell, MI; cousins Riley and Bella "Beezy" Cox, and Lauren, Conner and Brady Wolfe. In the three short months Brennan touched many hearts including, Sherry (Jason) Ekins; Jaimelynn (George/Panda) Lewis; Lanee Beady; Samantha Gunderson; Andrea Kasper all of Traverse City; Brittany Hughes of Harbor Beach, MI; and Rebecca Dostie of Royal Oak, MI; as well as many, many other family members and friends.
He is welcomed with loving arms at the gates of heaven by his great aunt, Kathy Fredrick, great uncles, Donald and Robert Budreau, and an aunt, Leann Budreau.
Memorial services are scheduled for Brennan on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00am at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home located at 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49684.
