Brian Ervin Strong , 66, of Traverse City passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Munson Medical Center.

Brian was born March 9, 1955 in Traverse City to Carter Bruce and Margaret Maud (Collins) Strong. He graduated from Traverse City High School in the class of 1976. He worked as the mail distributor at Burwood's, at Captains Quarters, and spent several summers working at the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island. He was a true sports enthusiast and enjoyed going down to Michigan State University football games with brother Carter.

Surviving Brian is his mother Margaret, his brother Carter (Doris) Strong, his sister Nancy (Patrick) Lang, two nieces Chelsea Lang and Devon (Jacob) Miller.

Brian was preceded in death by his father Carter Bruce Strong.

A graveside service will be held on July 30, 2021 at 11am at Oakwood Cemetery. A luncheon will follow under the pavilions at the Civic Center.
