Bruce was born on July 31, 1951 to the late Marion J. and Margery N. (Hair) McGhan.
Bruce graduated from Traverse City High School in 1969 and then from Michigan State University in 1973 with a Bachelors Degree in accounting. He worked for many years in the healthcare industry.
Bruce is survived by his siblings Nancy (Kenneth McGowan) McGhan, Sue (Jon) Wyckoff, Mark (Natalie) McGhan and Roger (Pat) McGhan; many nieces and nephews and good friend Amy Borland from Evansville, IN.
Memorial contributions in his honor may be directed to the Leelanau Conservancy.
