Cameron Andrew Alpers, a hard working, fun loving, son, brother, grandson and uncle passed away after an automobile accident on January 16, 2023.

Cameron was born on June 22, 1999 in Traverse City to Staci and Chris Alpers.

Cameron graduated from St. Francis in 2017 and followed in his father's footsteps at Alpers Excavating. He wore many hats at the company including machine operator, laborer, truck driver and more.

Cameron loved his family and friends. He was not one to shy away from the karaoke stage and often belted out country songs while rocking an air guitar or broom stick. He enjoyed goin out with friends four-wheelin in his razor side by side and was always up for a bonfire and a Busch Light. He also liked to drift his truck and left several marks in his driveway to prove it.

In his younger years Cameron could often be found getting into trouble with his twin brother Weston. They loved to play outdoors and were all boy. They loved each other in their own unique way. He also adored his younger sister Libby and as they got older, grew closer together. Cameron had a special relationship with his older sisters Renay and Mashell and he adored his nieces and nephews. They all looked up to him and loved to play with "Uncle Cameron".

Cameron was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa Jim Alpers.

Cameron is survived by his dad Chris (Kathy Kenny) Alpers; mom Staci (Mike Depky) Alpers; siblings Renay (Dakota) Howey, Mashell (Chris) Hayes, Weston, and Libby; nieces and nephews Oliver, Parker, Elijah, Nolan, Jillian and Josie Hayes and Vanellope and Phoenix Howey; paternal grandma Pat Alpers; maternal grandparents Anna (John) Lindhurst and many other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm at St. Patrick Catholic Church. The mass celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning one hour prior also at St. Pats. A luncheon and memorial gathering will immediately follow at his aunt and uncles house at 3736 Coach Drive off Herkner Road. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to raise a glass and have a bon fire.
