Traverse City - Carl Franklin Barry, 74, of Traverse City passed away April 18, 2016 at Munson Medical Center.
Carl was born on April 12, 1942 in Muskegon to the late Franklin Carl Wimmer and Carrie Ethel Akerman.
Carl married Margie Sue Tousey in Muskegon on June 25, 1964. She preceded him in death.
Carl enjoyed fishing, spending time with his brother at his old bar, and visiting with his kids and grandkids.
Carl is survived by his son Michael of Traverse City, son Steve (Amy) of Interlochen and daughter Diane of Copemish, grandchildren Jonathon, Jamie, Anthony and Matthew and two great grandchildren; brothers Joseph "Andy" (Melody) Barry, Thurman "Terry" (Llo) Barry, Chuck (Carolyn) Wimmer, and Dan (Jeannie) Wimmer and sister Laura (Joe) Staples.
A memorial service will be held on Friday May 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Honor Congregational Church.
