Carl Pearce, age 80, of Duck Lake, MI was called to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Growing up in a Coast Guard family, Carl served as a Captain in the US Coast Guard. He also worked for the Grand Traverse County Sherrif Department for many years. He lived a good life and loved nothing more than his wife, son, and daughter-in-law. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

Carl is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beth; son: Michael (Bethanne) Pearce; brother, David (Lupe) Pearce; brother-in-law: Bill (Judy) Bentley; and his beloved dog and loyal companion, Bandit.

Per Carl's wishes, his cremated remains, with the supervision of a US Coast Guard helicopter, will be released in Duck Lake. Memorial contributions may be given to Coast Guard Mutual Assistance, Central United Methodist Church Outreach, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, or Northwest Michigan College.
