Carl Don Ross' Obituary
TRAVERSE CITY - Carl Don Ross, 73, of Traverse City, passed away on Sept. 18, 2014. Carl was born Sept. 16, 1941 in Richmond, Kentucky to his parents the late Hargis and Myrtle (Williams) Ross.
Carl honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1958 - 1961. He married his wife Gene (Provins) Ross and the couple celebrated 53 years of marriage.
He worked in the oil and gas industry and moved to Michigan in 1969 from Lovington, New Mexico.
Carl is survived by his wife; sons, Carl Don Ross II and Curtis Dwain Ross; seven grandchildren, Carl Don III, Candace Rae, Christopher Devon, Clayton Douglas, Katharine, Ashley, and Dwain; One great-grandchild, Logan David.
His final resting place will be Fort Custer, Michigan.
Arrangements for the family have been entrusted to Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
