Carol Ann Kitchen, 63, life long resident of Traverse City passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Carol was born in Traverse City on July 30 1952 to her parents Elmer and Ann Kitchen.
Carol worked at AAA of Michigan for over 40 years and enjoyed traveling the world and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her father, Elmer Kitchen; sisters, Jean Maile and Karen DeLong; brother-in-law's, Terry Horwath and Dan DeLong; nephew, Conor Maile; cousins, Marge and Tom Porritt and their son Jason.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Kitchen.
A memorial mass for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Traverse City. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.
Carol's family would like to extend their gratitude to Kathy and Art Arndt for their friendship and assistance during Carol's short illness.
