TRAVERSE CITY — Carol Jean Sprunk, 88, of Traverse City, a former 20-year resident of Vero Beach, Fla., passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Munson Hospice House, in the company of her loving family.Carol was born Monday, March 26, 1923, to the late Marble June and Florence (Lodge) Morell, in Detroit.Carol is survived by her two sons, Dr. Robert "Bob" (Leeann) Sprunk, of Traverse City, and Richard (Monica) Sprunk, of Windsor, Ontario; her five granddaughters, Heidi (Jon) Plummer, Julie (Lt. Greg) Enzinger, Emily Sprunk, Kayla Sprunk, and Erin Currin; three great-grandchildren, Avery and Jack Plummer and Zachary Currin; one brother, MJ Morell, of Gladwin; several close friends and residents at Glen Eagle; as well as many other loving family members and friends.Carol was preceded in death by her husband, William P.
