Caroline Schneider-Widlund

Caroline Schneider-Widlund, 89, of Buckley passed away at her home with her two daughters and husband by her side on July 26, 2022.

Caroline was born on June 10, 1933 in Pontiac to the late Lowell Miner and Mary Amy (Murray) Hunt.

Caroline lived in Pontiac until moving to the Traverse City area in the 1980's. Caroline enjoyed crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles. She also liked to garden. Above all else she cherished her children and grandchildren.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Milton Lutz; second husband Vincent J. Schneider Jr.; three sons Milton M. Lutz, Frederick W. Lutz and Vincent H. Schneider; sister Nancy Presnell and her two brothers Roger and Donald Hunt.

Caroline is survived by her beloved husband of 18 years, Paul; daughters Patricia Swick and Cheryl Kelly; sons Jerry Schneider and Pete (Frances) Schneider; 14 grandchildren; and over 20 great grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 3 pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2 pm.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
