Carrie Marie Brigham (Willette), 48, of Traverse City joined her lord Jesus Christ on November 8, 2018. Carrie was born on June 5, 1970 in Covington, KY, the first daughter of Mike and Linda (Martin) Willette and the big sister to Stephanie and Michelle.
Her sons Michael and Victor were her greatest achievements and her greatest love. A graduate from Baker College, Carrie spent her years in service as an aid to the elderly, and then as a licensed practical nurse in Traverse City. Her vocation follows in the footsteps of her "Grandma Bunny," and many aunts and greats aunts, and inspiring the next generation. Her loyal dog, Lucas, brought her such joy and strength.
Carrie struggled with many ailments throughout her life, yet never complained. Her beauty was always there; gentle, wise, and kind. She would do anything for family, friends and strangers. Her apple cheeks, dimpled smile, and "Carrot Top" will be sorely missed.
Carrie is survived by her parents, Michael and Linda Willette, two loving sons; Michael (Stephanie) Willette and Victor Brigham; three grandchildren Seth Willette, Brayden Willette, and Eva Willette and two sisters; Stephanie (Brad) Bagaloff and Michelle (Mike) Huey; Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and cousins.
Carrie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Freddie and Pauline Martin, and Albert and Bernadette Willette as well as three uncles Patrick Willette, Charles Willette, and Anthony Martin.
