Cassandra Sue Douglass

Cassandra Sue Douglass, 74, of Traverse City passed away September 21, 2021 at her home.

Cassandra was born on August 12, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Rowland Samuel and Alta Ruth (Aston) Douglass.

Cassandra was a registered nurse for over 30 years. She was a faithful member of the Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed singing and playing the piano in her free time. She liked to go on cruises and sang back up for Sandy Patty. She also liked to cheer on the Denver Broncos.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her parents and brother Philip.

Cassandra is survived by her nephews Chad (Linda), Eric, and Ryan (Lyndsay); sister-in-law Carolyn; and great nieces and nephews Jackson, Gabriel, Brady, Olivia, Charles, Carson, Kate and Foster as well as many friends.

A gathering will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10 am with prayers to be shared at 11 am at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
