GLEN LAKE — Charleen K. Hale, 82, of Glen Lake and Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away Friday, July 15, 2011, surrounded by her family. Charleen was born Sept. 29, 1928, in Evanston, Ill. On Sept. 26, 1950, she married Donald Nathan Hale. Together they raised three wonderful children. Charleen was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She also enjoyed skiing, ceramics, golfing and tending to her flowers. She loved spending time at the lake and with her family. Surviving Charleen are her husband, Don; children, Dave (Shelia) Hale and Mary (Joe) Mathieu; son-in-law, Mike Rozelle; and grandchildren, Matt Hale, Todd (Amy) Hale, Jenna, Courtney and Mackenzie Rozelle, and Hannah Mathieu.Charleen was preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Rozelle; and her brother, Joey Welter.A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
