TRAVERSE CITY — Charlotte (Schultz) Haag, 92, of Traverse City, formerly of St. Clair Shores and Roseville, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at The Grand Traverse Pavilions. She was born in Bergheim, Germany, on Aug. 31, 1918, and came to the United States (Detroit) when she was 11-years-old. Charlotte graduated from St. David High School in Detroit and worked for Siegel Fashions. She was married to Charles F. Haag and celebrated 43 anniversaries before his passing in 1980. Charlotte moved to Traverse City in 2007 and resided at Glen Eagle Retirement Village and Bay Ridge Assisted Living. Charlotte and Charles had five sons, Raymond (Annette), of Sacramento, Calif., Charles (Ginny), of Cedar, Robert (Annette), of Macomb, Ronald (Teri), of Colleyville, Texas, and Jeffrey (Lisa), of Prior Lake, Minn. She was a grandmother of 14, a great-grandmother of 15 and a great-great-grandmother of two. A memorial Mass will be celebrated with the time, date and place to be announced. Inurnment will be in the Columbarium of Oakwood Catholic Diocesan Cemetery.Memorial contributions in Charlotte's name may be directed to The Grand Traverse Pavilions Foundation.
