Christina Birdsey

Christina Birdsey, 82, formerly of Traverse City passed away in Cedar Springs, MI on September 13, 2022.
Christina was born on December 26, 1939 in Krakow, Poland to the late Anna and Stanly Sikora. She was one of three children including her sister Zosia and her brother Edward who preceded her in death.
She married the late Kenneth Mark Birdsey on August 11, 1975 in Melrose Park, IL.
She is survived by her son Montaigne Birdsey and her grandchildren; Emily Blackwell, Evan Birdsey and Adam Birdsey.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth whom passed on August 8, 2001.
Visitation will take place on Friday September 30, 2022 from 5-7pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday October 1, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Francis Catholic Church with visitation from 10:00am until the beginning of services. She will be entombed at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens following services.
