SEABERG, CHRISTINA MARIE; 62; of Grawn, MI passed on Thursday, May 28th. 2020 in the privacy and comfort of her home. A private service for immediate family members only to celebrate Christina's life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City, MI. Burial and final blessing will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Interlochen, Michigan. The burial and final blessing ceremony is open to all. To participate in the procession to the cemetery, please congregate at the funeral home parking lot at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 6th. Christina was born April 27th. 1958 in Detroit, MI to Maria (Libby) Hampton and Jerry Libby. Raised in Lake Orion, MI, as a child, Christina was recognized as a gifted student and excelled in academics and music. She was passionate about criminal justice, legal studies and an advocate for veterans, the elderly, the homeless, charitable fundraising and cancer research. She was a proud and deeply loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. In retirement, Christina spent her time focused on cooking, fishing, canoeing, hiking, gardening and was an avid reader. She was an enthusiastic northern Michigan resident and passionately proud of her long-time membership of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles FOE #3503. Christina was also very social and took great pleasure in party planning, riding motorcycles and live music. She enjoyed visiting with her children, grandchildren and extended family and friends regularly. Surviving are her daughter, Laura Marie Brooke Leonard of Thompsonville, MI; son, Raymond William Seaberg IV of Mancelona, MI; grandson, Alexander William Edward Gross of Traverse City, MI; granddaughter, Mia Natalie Jená Winowiecki of Thompsonville, MI; granddaughter, Brooke Adrienne Laneé Winowiecki of Thompsonville, MI; and grandson, Jayce Logan Mario McClellan of Battle Creek, MI. Christina was also a proud great-grandmother. Great-grandchildren, Illidynn Kristopher Matthew Winowiecki and Odessa Mithra Christine Brooks. Surviving siblings include brother, Randy Scott Libby of Madisonville, TN; sister and family, Sabrina A. Z. Libby-Isherwood, Eric M. Isherwood, Isabella Nicole Genevieve Isherwood and Michael Gianni Christopher Isherwood of Naperville, IL; mother, Maria Hampton of Linden, MI; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, second cousins and dear treasured friends who were like family. Christina was preceded in death by: daughter Leah Micheal Christine Leonard, brothers, Jeffrey Jerome Libby and Joseph Gregory Libby; sister, Carla Ann Ashton; father, Jerome B.
