Christopher Colly Lyons, born October 11, 1982 in Traverse City, Michigan, died tragically in an airplane accident on Sunday, September 27 in Lexington, Texas. He graduated from TC Central High School in 2001.
Flying was his passion. He was a commercial jump pilot. He dreamed of being a corporate pilot. Christopher loved outdoor adventure and enjoyed camping, river rafting, sky diving, snowboarding and other extreme sports. As a world traveler and living out West allowed him to enjoy these activities. Christopher showed us all how to live!!
Christopher spent many summers in Canada at Camp Bil-O-Wood where he learned to appreciate those outdoor activities. He truly learned to love adventure from his dad, Howard Walker. He was sensitive and loving like his father, David Lyons. Family was the most important thing to him and openly showed his love for his family and friends. Chris definitely had the magic touch for putting everyone around him at ease. He was a tall, handsome, fun loving young man with a beautiful smile. He was his generations Maltese Falcon. He lived his life to the fullest and made the most of his 33 years.
Christopher is loved by his parents Dianne and Howard Walker, sister Shen and brother Joshua Lyons (Holly Doran) and nephew Riley. He is loved by aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends in many states.
He was preceded in death by his father David Lyons.
