Christopher M. Wasnock

Christopher "Chris" Wasnock, 32, of Traverse City, formerly Mio, passed away January 12, 2023.
Chris was born July 18, 1990 to Michael and Traci (Carlson) Wasnock in Westbranch, MI.
Chris graduated from Fairview High School.

Shortly after High school Chris fell in love with working in the heating and cooling profession for many years. Many calling him the "handiest" man around.

Chris enjoyed being outdoors. Taking on many activities like cross country skiing, hiking the trails of the area and just being in all the wonders of nature. In addition to his love for his family, Chris had a real love for MSU and the Lions.

He will be missed for his smile, his selfless ways of helping everyone and for his larger than life love for sports.

He is lived on by his wife Alauna Wasnock and son Christopher Wasnock II. His father Michael Wasnock, mother Traci Wasnock, sister Courtney Wasnock (Conor Shumaker) and his two nephews.

Visitation will take place Wednesday January 18, 2023 from 12-1pm at Indian Mission United Methodist Church. A Celebration of life will begin at 1:00pm. Chris will be laid to rest at Indian Mission Cemetery.

There will be a public Celebration of life on Saturday January 21st from 12 to 6 at Six One Two, 5195 County Road 612 Lewiston, MI
