Cindy Lee Wheeler

Traverse City – Cindy Lee Wheeler, 67, of Traverse City passed away January 1, 2016 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Cindy was born April 9, 1948 in Traverse City to Gordon and Helen (Harty) Wheeler.

Cindy's immense love for her children and grandchildren was obvious to all who knew her, and it was family gatherings where she was most happy. She loved to travel with the destination typically being to visit family. She also cherished her close-knit group of friends with whom she frequently traveled and dined.

She is survived by the love of her life of 30 years, Michael Williams of Traverse City; children Michael (Sheila) Anderson of Traverse City, Eric Anderson of Dallas, TX, Stephanie (Scott) Beckstead of Traverse City, Kristen (Jeff) Moon of Battle Creek, MI, Hillary (Greg) Caskie of Traverse City, Forrest Williams of Kenai, AK, Sarah (Jim) Maier of Fremont, MI, David Williams of Traverse City, Jon (Melissa) Williams of Kenai, AK, Jennifer Parmalee of Grand Rapids, MI, Shad Williams of Hawaii, Adam Williams of San Diego, CA, 23 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; parents Gordon and Helen Wheeler of Traverse City; sister Sherry (Michael) Barich of Lincolnshire, IL; and nephew Nicholas Barich of Lincolnshire, IL.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
