Cleveland S. "Cleve" Morris Jr., 62, of Traverse City, passed away on October 9, 2021. Cleve was born in Frankfort Michigan, to Cleveland S. and Patricia (Ely) Morris Sr.

He grew up with his three brothers Gary (Rosealee) Morris, Rick Morris and Rodney (Tammi) Morris. He graduated from Benzie Central in 1978 and then started working at Chef Pierre, now known as Sara Lee for 43 years. He has worked in almost every position available but was a mixer for the last couple years. Cleve knew almost everyone and was loved by all who knew him.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping at his favorite campground, Betsie River. Cleve was most proud of the times he worked with the Red Cross in building handicap ramps and being a part of the Union Board at work. As well as the years he put into being a leader for the Boy Scouts.

Cleve was a loving husband, a wonderful father and a beloved grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Lorena "Lori" Morris, his son Adam (Elsie) Morris, his daughters Amanda (Jeremy) Radcliffe and Maria (Chris) Bell. His grandchildren Damian, Hannah, Serenity, Wyatt and Zachary, seven nieces and six nephews.
Aside from his children and grandchildren he doted on, Cleve is also survived by his mother Patricia (Kenneth) Williams and brothers.

He was preceded in death by his father Cleveland S. Morris Sr.

Friends are welcome to visit with Cleveland's family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street Traverse City, Michigan 49684.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Pastor Pete VanDyken will officiate.
