TRAVERSE CITY – Connie Lee Manville, age 69 of Traverse City, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home in the loving care of her family.
Connie was born on May 8, 1948 in Traverse City. Connie grew up in Traverse City and graduated from St. Francis High School in 1966. After graduating from high school Connie soon went to work for Essex in Traverse City as an operator.
In 1972, Connie married John Allen Manville in Traverse City. Together Connie and John built the home they currently reside in. They loved taking there family camping at Fisherman's Cove in Charlevoix. Connie was an avid hunter and loved to fish; they often had family fish fry's which always concluded with a good game of poker amongst everyone in the family. Connie also loved going to the casino, watching Tiger's baseball and two tracking with her husband, John.
Connie is survived by her husband, John A. Manville, daughter, Patricia (Robert) Lung, grand-daughter, Katya Lingg, sister, Diane (Dan) Weaver, brother, Don Morse, brother-in-law, Dan (Roseanne) Manville, and sister-in-law's, Marsha (Dick) Lamie, and Donna (Daryl) Poff. Connie is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Anne and Roy Morse, mother-in-law, Roberta Manville, father-in-law, William "Jack" Manville, and brother-in-law, William "Bill" Manville.
A visitation for Connie will take place from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 7, 2017 with a visitation one hour prior at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with Father Benjamin Rexroat officiating.
