Obituary

Connor Joseph London, 29, of Long Lake Twp passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2024. His incredible smile will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Connor was born on May 26, 1995, in Port Huron to Steven and Michelle London. He grew up alongside his brother Bryce and from a young age, his joy for life could be felt by others. He was truly one of a kind.

Connor graduated from Traverse City West High School in 2014 and then went on to study at Alpena Community College. Connor worked for Max's Service and most recently at Sign Art Indy.
Connor enjoyed the great outdoors and boating on Long Lake. He enjoyed adventure and the adrenaline from speed and skydiving to a roller coaster. Most of all he loved being home with friends and family around a campfire. He was gifted in many ways; one was his ability to fix anything. He could weld with the best of them, and he had a unique style of craftsmanship that was on a level all his own. He was the life of any party and loved to make others smile. Connor's smile and laugh was larger than a fireworks display on a clear summer night, lighting up every room and heart with equal brilliance. He lived his 29 years with a zest that was truly larger than life, leaving a trail of joy and mischief wherever he went.

Connor will be greatly missed by his family and endless friends; his parents Steve and Michelle; brother Bryce and sister-in-law Danielle; niece Isla Josephine and a niece who will be making her grand entrance into this world in just a few weeks; grandparents Joseph Biernasz and Ann Marie Foerster; grandparents Dennis & Marie Ann London, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Connor was preceded in death by his uncle Joseph Biernasz.

The family will celebrate all the light that Connor brought into this world on October 22, 2024, 11 am at Twin Lakes Park (Gilbert Lodge). We will celebrate Connor the way Connor lived life with unmatched socks, jeans and a t-shirt. We welcome all to attend the way Connor would want us to and celebrate his life with exaggerated stories and love.

In true Connor style, in lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, we invite you to keep his spirit alive by paying it forward in his name with a random act of kindness or heartfelt gesture. We can honor Connor not just with words, but with laughter, warmth, and the boundless energy he brought into our lives.

Memories, condolences and photos can be shared at www.reynolds-jonkhoff.com on his tribute page.

Connor's favorite quote "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, Wow! What a ride!"
