WILLIAMSBURG — Constance "Connie" Elaine (Beebe) Lerch, 85, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born July 15, 1926, in Charlotte, to the late Elmer Melvin and Hazel (Wilson) Beebe. She married Norbert Lerch on April 19, 1952. Together they lovingly raised three sons. Connie attended Michigan State University followed by specialized training to serve as a Flight Attendant with Trans World Airlines. Later she was an Administrative Assistant with L'Anse Creuse Public Schools.Connie will be remembered for her delicious home cooking. She was an avid bowler, golfer and bridge player. Connie was exceedingly proud of her sons and grandchildren, cheering on their various sports and school activities. Surviving Connie are Norbert, her husband of 59 years; sons, Bill (Teresa) Lerch, of Shelby Township, Tom (Janice) Lerch, of Shelby Township, and Dan (Susan) Lerch, of Ann Arbor; and grandchildren, Tom "TJ" Lerch, Joshua Lerch, Emily (Billy) McKeogh, Jenna (Tim) Wicks, Jessica (Joel) Zoller, Eric Lerch and Kiel Lerch. She is also survived by siblings, Gloria (Bob) Herr and Gary (Midge) Beebe; and sisters-in-law, Mary (Dick) Smith and Susie Wheeler. Connie's visitation will take place Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, from 5 to 9 p.m.,with a scripture service at 7 p.m., at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Traverse City.
