Constance Helen Mc Nulty Ballard, 89, of Lake Ann passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Culver Meadows.
Connie was born on August 19, 1927 in Passaic, NJ to the late Robert Gleason and Ada (Rossborough) McNulty. She married William "Bill" J. Ballard on February 23, 1952 in Columbia, SC.
Connie graduated from Rutherford N.J. High School in the class of 1945. She graduated from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital College School of Nursing in 1948, and received her BA Degree from Saginaw Valley College in 1969.
As a proud mother of her four children she enjoyed spending many years teaching Sunday School and working with the Cub Scouts and Brownies. She was active and always supportive of the Republican Party.
Since moving to the Lake Ann area she was busy as an antiques dealer for many years. She was an avid supporter of the Old Town Playhouse, the Interlochen Arts Academy, and a volunteer at the Dennos Museum. She attended Honor Congregational Church.
Surviving Connie is her beloved husband Bill of 65 devoted years; children, William (Karen) Ballard, Laura (Steve) King, Charles Ballard, Madeleine Carey; 10 grandchildren, Andrew (Lauri) King, Zeb King, William (Andrea) Ballard III, Michael Ballard, Robert (Stephanie) Ballard, Melissa Carey, Laura Constance Carey, Meghan Taylor, Alexa Hettwer; 7 great grandchildren, Colton and Sawyer King, Logan, Dalton and Payton King, Lucas and Dylan Ballard, and many other loving family members and friends.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, brother Scott McNulty and sister Roberta McNulty Temple.
A memorial Service is scheduled to be held at 4pm on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 3pm.
