Craig Lindsey Hollis, of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly at home Friday, March 13, 2015. Craig was born on December 3, 1961, in Jackson, MI, to Don and Darlene Hollis.
Craig graduated from Northwest High School in Rives Junction, MI, in 1980. He worked at various jobs during his life including construction and warehousing. He was currently employed as groundskeeper at Crown Golf Course.
He enjoyed being outdoors and loved golfing and snowmobiling. He especially loved fishing with his friends and with his two nieces.
He will be greatly missed by his parents, sister, Kimberly (Blaine) Litteral of West Olive, his nieces Devon and Makenna Litteral of West Olive, grandmother, Emmajane Reardon of Traverse City, aunt, Barbara (Norman) Mieras and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald Reardon of Jackson and Clifton and Alma Hollis of Stockbridge.
A memorial service of remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 4968, with visiting one hour prior. Pastor Tim Manzer will officiate.
Memorial contributions in Craig's name may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society.
