Cynthia "Cindy" Averill

Cynthia Sue Averill, 66, of Traverse City, fought the fight until April 22, 2020.
Cindy was the sunrise and the sunset to all who knew her, especially her soul mate, love, friend and partner in crime LeRoy "Bud" Averill, husband of 36 years.
Although described as a little bullheaded and stubborn, she was the kindest most gentle woman you would meet. Giving her right arm to the cause whatever it may be.
Cindy was born in Grand Rapids, MI on February 16,1954 to the late George and Gertrude (Przybyz) Zalenski.
Her most current passions were riding her jet ski and fishing on Long Lake. Being outside was truly Cindy's happy place.
She is survived by her beloved husband Bud, sister Nancy (Tony) Rettig, Children; Sandy, Susie, Steve and Shannon and sister in law Sue (Bob Barnes) Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Scott, sister Judy and brothers Tony and Brian.
