Cynthia Dianne Kan, 73, of Traverse City, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Munson Medical Center.

Cindy was born in Lansing, Michigan. After graduating from high school, she continued her education at Western Michigan University and later at Northwestern Michigan College.

In 1993, she married Stephen A. Kan, and together they shared 33 loving years of marriage.

In her spare time, Cindy enjoyed sewing and crafting. In her younger years, she loved to golf. She also took great pleasure in watching movies and television, finding comfort and joy in the stories they brought to life.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Stephen; her mother Marian Kevwitch, son John (Angela) Norvell; and her in-laws Susan Clark, Debra Kan, and David (Glae) Kan.

She is preceded in death by her dad Clarence Kevwitch, her brother Jerome Clark, in-laws James Kan and Judith Meleski.

Interment will take place in the spring at Ogdensburg Cemetery.
