Cynthia Elizabeth Wilson, 90 of Maple City, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 11, 2024 at home.
Cynthia was born on June 27, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Watson and Ruth (Patterson) Stone. She married the late Henry "Hank" Wilson on March 15, 1969.
Cynthia moved to the Traverse City area in 1986 from Wheaton, IL. After arriving in Traverse City she began working at Boride Manufacturing. She retired as the office manager in 1998. She was also a devoted member of the Glen Lake Community Church.
Cynthia was a wonderful Mom, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed and loved by all her family.
Surviving Cynthia are her sons, Edward (Annette) Kandel, Tom (Mary) Kandel, grandchildren Kyle (Kelly) Kandel, Christy (Connor) Stapleton, great grandchildren Kane, Kayce, Oakley, Ian, her beloved dogs, and many other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Sally, her grandson Michael Kandel, and great grandson Ezra.
Private family services will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to HANDDS To The Rescue.
