Dale Francis Snowden

Dale Francis Snowden, 60 of Traverse City passed away at home on April 27, 2019. Dale was born July 25, 1958 in Garden City, MI to parents Gerald and Eva (Uhas) Snowden.

To say the least, Dale was a warm-hearted happy soul. Loved by all he knew; Dale will never be forgotten for his laugh and constant positivity. Even when Dale faced challenges, which numbered many in his life he persevered and kept on going. Even though Dale was somewhat of a drifter this did not impact his love and regard for those in his circle.

Everyone's relationship with Dale had its own unique story. It was really hard not to be charmed by Dale, always sporting his neatly ironed jeans and extra clean work boots. Dale was the best friend anyone could ask for. He had a creative side and artistic flair through his work with floor coverings; he also loved all things involving the sun, especially capturing it in photographs. Dale loved all things Florida, from trips to Disney in one of his infamous vans with, to excursions with his brother Jerry all across the state. In his own way Dale was caring, and certainly a wonderful, unforgettable man. We miss you Dale!

Dale is survived by his cherished children Nicole Snowden, Stacey (Shaun) Collins, Jennifer Snowden, and Austin and Ryan Snowden; beloved brother Jerry (Amy Northway) Snowden; grandchildren Jaden Bebout, Landen, Cyleigh, Gunner and Chloe Collins, baby Collins, who is on the way, and Keaden Snowden; special friend Jamie Snowden; former spouse Angie Mason; and so many amazing friends.

Private services for Dale have been held. Dale's family and friends are grateful for the support and help through the loss of this remarkable man.
