David Charles Clemens, 84, passed away on October 11, 2024 in Lake Ann, Michigan. David was born on March 23, 1940 in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles and Esther Clemens. David dedicated his life to his family and his work, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
A true family man, David was known for his charitable nature and hardworking spirit. He found joy in reading, watching classic movies, cars, traveling, and spending quality time with his loved ones. David married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Marquette in 1958 and raised four children, in their first home in Sylvania, Ohio.
David's career spanned several decades and industries. He began his professional journey at Silvercup Bread in 1960, working alongside his father. He then started his long career with Pepsi Cola in 1965 where he continued to work until 1997. He later accepted a position with Sofo Foods where he retired after 10 years of dedicated and satisfying service.
David is survived by his daughter, Deborah Clemens; sons, Donald Clemens and Douglas Clemens; grandchildren, Paige (Adrian) Colon and Taylor Clemens and great-grandchildren, Maya Colon and Samantha Colon.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Clemens, son, David Clemens, his parents, Charles Clemens and Esther Nyari as well as a sister, Joan Kerner.
