David Eugene Cussins

David Eugene Cussins, born on May 10, 1945, passed away on October 4, 2025. He married in 2001 to Helen Joy Crabtree, and they made Traverse City their permanent home. Together they enjoyed RVing, cruises and traveling.
David is survived by his sisters, Janice and Jadean, their families and the extended family of nephews and nieces through marriage to Helen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, in March of 2020; his father, Roy and mother, Stella.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam war, serving in the Navy. After his service, he was an accountant for the IRS for 5 years. He then owned his own tax service and bookkeeping business, retiring in 1997. David was a member of the American Legion, SMART (a military organization of RVers), and the Newmar Kountry Klub.
Per his wishes, there will be no services, and David's ashes will be interred at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
