David A. McClain, age 63, of Kansas, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 25, 2024.

David was a loving father, who took great care of his daughters. He was a truck driver for many years with JB Hunt and Barr-Nunn. He also served our country in the US Army. David was a simple person who loved life and spending time with his family. He was always ready for fun, and always had a joke at the ready. His hobbies included camping and watching NASCAR.

David was preceded in death by his parents Coger & Katherine (Kidd) McClain; brother, Lewis McClain; sister, Frances Egan; and wife Susan McClain.

He is survived by his daughters: Rebecca McClain and Linda McClain; brothers: Leland McClain, James (Cindy) McClain; sisters: Sharon Cole, Roseann Polk; former wife, Debby Dedafoe; and many nieces and nephews.
