David Vern Ramsey of Traverse City, Michigan, age 69, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023. He was born to Keith and Jessie (Amiot) Ramsey on September 27, 1953 in Garden City, Michigan.

As a proud Navy veteran, he served his country from 1971 to 1981. He was long standing member of the Vietnam Veterans Association, Chapter 528 in Plymouth/Canton, Michigan and one of his greatest joys was spending time with his fellow veterans every September at the VVA reunion in Kokomo, IN. He enjoyed working on his Civil War research, adding to his extensive stamp collection and taking care of his fur buddy, Murphy.

Dave is survived by his wife of 22 years, Terri Ramsey and many loving family members and friends.

A celebration of his life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Central United Methodist Church, 222 Cass Street, Traverse City, MI 49684. Immediately following the service, you are cordially invited to join the family for a time of fellowship, food, and refreshments at the church.
