David Lee Roosevelt

David Lee Roosevelt was born in Traverse City Michigan on June 5th 1950. He died September 29th 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carleton and Betty Roosevelt and Brother Robert.
On August 2nd 1969 he married the love of his life Deb (Adams) who survives.
He will be greatly missed by his children; son Sean Roosevelt, Daughters Tracy Knight (Jeff) and Erin Roosevelt (Shannon). He also leaves behind Granddaughters Molly Mercer (Scott), Lexie Thiel, Maddison Thiel, and Jenna Thiel, great grandsons Alex, Austin and Brantley with 3 more on the way. He was so proud of all his kids and grandkids, and to them he was a superhero and the best Dad/grandpa in the world.
Dave had a deep love of cars from a young age, restoring several over the years with much pride. Later in life woodworking would become his passion, with him making many great pieces his family will cherish.
Dave attended Traverse Bay United Methodist and enjoyed coffee hour with the guys.
No services are planned at this time. A memorial with family will be scheduled at a later date.
