David C. Wylie passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 in Traverse City, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon, MI to the late Clarence and Josephine (Janus) Wylie on December 14, 1939. On September 19, 1964, David married Charlene Hardley. David served in the Navy from 1961 to 1966. David participated in music all of his life (Church choir and Barbershop). He enjoyed sports, fishing, camping, gardening and time outdoors. He loved his God, wife, children and grandchildren dearly.
David is survived by his wife Charlene, his daughter Michele (Tim) Swingle and their children Benjamin and Aaron, his son Nathan, his daughter Heather (Mike) Sullivan their children Alayna, Trey and Analyn, and his son Aaron (Janelle) Wylie and their children AJ, Alyssa, Lydia, Jenna and Daniel. The surviving siblings are Chuck and (Sue) Wylie, Janice (Ray) LaCourse, Jerry and (Carolyn) Wylie, Joyce and (Phil) Steele as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM at East Bay Calvary Church and Friday January 24, 2020 one hour prior to the 11:00 AM Service.
