Dawn Hunsaker's Obituary
Traverse City - Dawn Hunsaker, 88, of Interlochen passed away on July 10, 2016 at Munson Hospice House.
Dawn was born August 10, 1927 in Black Rock, Australia. She was married to the late Robert James Hunsaker for a loving 48 years.
In her younger years Dawn was a reporter for the Missoulian Newspaper in Missoula, Montana. She also was an interpreter and lecturer at the Ironworld Discovery Center in Minnesota. Finally, her most cherished career was as a talented professional quilter.
Dawn loved learning. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. Her cats and dogs were also a very special part of her life. Most importantly Dawn loved to spend time with her husband Robert. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her 2 children, 6 step-children, many grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will hold private family services at a later date.
