Mrs. Delphine H. Chmielewski

Delphine H. Chmielewski of Traverse City entered into rest November 4, 2013 at the age of 81. She was born December 26, 1931 in Detroit,MI. to Thomas and Clara (Bushman) Mack.
Delphine married Robert E. Chmielewski on September 4, 1948 and moved to the South Boardman area shortly after. She worked as an accountant for over thirty years for various employers and retired from Northwest Community Mental Health in the mid '90s.
Delphine and Robert loved to travel and were able to visit many different States while enjoying their retirement years but most of all Delphine loved to spend as much time as she could with her family especially the grandkids and great grandchildren.
Delphine was preceded in death by her husband Robert; son Todd; brother Rob James and her parents.
She is survived by her sons,Craig(Deborah) Chmielewski and Mark(Pam) Chmielewski of Traverse City, Daughters, Kim(Jeff) Schichtel of Traverse City and MaryAnn (William) Sorvisto of Hancock,MI. grandchildren; Lynda(William) Freet, Lisa(William) Sutton, Larissa (Michael) Ellis, Michelle(James) Dittmar, Jennifer and Jason North, David (Nikki) Chmielewski, Daniel(Heather) Chmielewski, Jeremy and Ashley Sorvisto and 17 great grandchildren.
Delphine will be intered in the South Boardman Cemetery with her husband.
A memorial service will be held this spring.
Memorial contributions are directed to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
The Chmielewski family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation services.
