Denis A. Pompilius

Dennis A. Pompilius, age 83, of Traverse City passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025. Dennis was born in Highland Park, Michigan on December 17, 1941. Upon graduation from Wayne Memorial HS he joined the Navy and was stationed at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. While Stationed in Maryland he met and married wife Linda on June 1, 1963.They have a daughter Tina of Traverse City. After leaving the Navy he accepted a job as Graphic Arts Dept Manager at Central Michigan University. He retired in 1998 and later moved to Lake Ann, Michigan. Denny enjoyed all outdoor activities and traveled to many places. He is survived by wife Linda, daughter Tina, brother Charles, sister Becky and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents and brothers Rommie and George. Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
