Dennis M. Davidson, 88, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at his home. Dennis was born on February 13, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Milton and Ellen (McHugh) Davidson. He was married to Carol Mathews on August 5, 2005, in Traverse City.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Carol, a son, Christopher (Jill) Davidson, two daughters; Jane Davidson and Pamela (Patrick) Dueweke, two stepsons, Michael Mathews and David (Pamela) Mathews. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; Mary (Bryan) Luna, Tory Dueweke, Mary Dueweke, Hannah Davidson, Brandon (Melaine) Buckner, Andrew Mathews, Jaci Matthews, Ryan Conrad and Paige Howard and one great-granddaughter, Mary Mills Luna as well as two sisters and a brother; Milane Davidson, Kathleen Stevens and Timothy Davidson.

A Funeral Mass honoring Dennis will take place at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 308 N. Cedar St., Traverse City, Michigan 49684. Those unable to attend the Funeral Mass can livestream at Immaculate Conception's website.
