Denton, known to his family and friends as Denny, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 17, 2024.

Denny was born on October 6, 1961 in Pontiac to Sherwin "Butch" Roberts and Diana Faye (Sidick) Raison. He grew up in Union Lake, now known as Commerce Township.

Denny was a district manager at Dunhams Sporting Goods for 40 years. He loved his job, but not nearly as much as he loved hunting. Opening day was always a holiday for Denny. He loved everything about deer hunting.

Denny also enjoyed playing co-ed softball, boating, golfing and riding his Side by Side.

Denny married Susanne "Sue" Shenk on June 23, 1995.

Denny was preceded in death by his father Butch, just 10 months ago, and step-father Jim

Denny is survived by his wife Sue; their daughter Brittany (Matt) Elkins; grandson Gordon; mom Diane Raison; sister Tammy (Bill) Stokes; half-brother Mark (Jane) Klug; step-mom Jodi Roberts; step sister Lisa (Shelby) Wheatley, sister-in-law Nancy Rocheleau; Sister in-law Barb and Bill Lusk and many many Nieces and Nephews and lots of awesome friends

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning one hour prior at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

In lieu of memorial contributions, next time you see a deer or go hunting, think of Denny and smile. May he rest in peace.
