Devon Scott Washkevich (Manley), 19, of Williamsburg , died Saturday, September 13, 2014 as the result of an auto accident
Devon was born on Tuesday, January 24, 1995 to Barbara F. Manley and David S. Washkevich in Traverse City.
Devon had most recently been employed in the construction trades. Whatever Devon worked at, he did with excellence. He was told in school that he was very highly musically inclined, which no doubt lead to his hobby and interest in building speakers, especially bass units and was a great audio engineer. He also enjoyed cars and trucks and was a drummer.
Devon is survived by his mom, Barbara Manley of Williamsburg, his sisters Cira and Aleah; his grandparents James and JoAnne Manley of Acme, Richard and Patricia Washkevich of Sanilac County, his beloved girl friend, Hailey Downey, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad, David.
A service celebrating Devon's life will take place at 1 PM Thursday, Sept. 18 at New Hope Community Church, Williamsburg, with his Pastor, Carey Waldie officiating.
