Diana Sue Campbell, 72, of Traverse City passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024 at her home after a courageous battle with ALS.

Diana was born on May 30, 1951 in Wyandotte to John E. and Margerite (Kirby) Findley.

Diana will be remembered for her kindness and giving heart. She was humble and always thought of others before herself. She loved to send cards to others and care for anyone and everyone. For the last two decades, she was a professional caregiver and she excelled in this role. She loved to go shopping, tend to her garden, cook delicious meals, and decorate her home. Faith was also very important to her, and she loved to worship her Savior, Jesus. She was a devoted member of New Hope Community Church for over 25 years and served as a mentor in the Divorce Care community for many years. Above all else, she cherished her son, and especially her grandson, Seth.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Donald and Michael Findley.

Diana is survived by her son Craig (Colette) Campbell; grandson Seth Campbell; siblings; John (Jane) Findley, Karen (Dennis) Williams, David (Karen) Findley, Robin (Mark) McCool, Mark (Roxanne) Findley, along with many nieces and nephews.

A special heartfelt thank you to her sisters, Karen Williams and Robin McCool, who were by her side through this journey, as well as her many family and friends who provided her meals, ran errands, provided home accommodations, and sent notes of encouragement.

The celebration of Diana's life will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning one hour prior at New Hope. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to Hospice of Michigan or the ALS Association.
